Since becoming a board-governed institution, enrolment at Keyano College doubled to approximately 1100 full-time equivalent students. Accommodating the demand for space became increasingly difficult. We examined the existing operations and facilities; refined the mission role and program mix; developed projected enrollments over five years and beyond; and determined resource requirements over five years. We worked with management and the Board to review our assessment of internal state, college mission, and external environment; explore priorities in the context of budget restrictions using participatory trade-off exercises; forecast future enrolments; and select a preferred development strategy for the next five years. Completed in 1984.
