Bus Maintenance Facility, Richmond, BC - 1998
Client: BC Transit
Building type: Industry/Research
BC Transit had developed a plan for a new bus maintenance facility. We worked with a cost consultant to define potential cost-saving measures for the proposed complex. Tasks included reviewing initial design concepts and other background documents, analyzing space allocations for office areas in relation to government guidelines, and preparing a list of topics for review with the client. We then participated in an all day value analysis worksession with BC Transit representatives to identify opportunities for economies in the design and construction of the facility. Completed in 1998.
