SMUS is a private school that offers programs to students from kindergarten to Grade 12. The senior school serves approximately 500 students. We developed a facilities program for three phases of proposed new and replacement facilities for the senior school. The three phases comprised the Classroom Block, the School House Block, and the Recreation Block. The Classroom Block provided replacement facilities for the arts and humanities. The School House Block was the complete redevelopment of an existing historic building for administrative and support functions. The Recreation Block provided a lap pool, racquet courts, and social space. In addition to the facilities program, we assisted in the selection of an architect and we reviewed the architect’s design for program compliance. Completed in 2000.
