The purpose of the School Site Acquisition Charge (SSAC) is to help pay for new school sites required as a result of residential development. We estimated the amount of future residential development and the number of students likely to be generated by the new development. We synthesized the School District’s long-term facilities plan; calculated the SSAC; and documented the results in a summary report to be reviewed by all stakeholders. Completed in 2010.

Our analytical work included estimating the amount of future residential development and the number of students likely to be generated by the new development. North Rutland Schools, Kelowna, BC - 1994

We prepared a service delivery plan for schools in the Rutland area of Kelowna. This included the exploration of redevelopment and replacement options for two existing elementary schools. Our work involved the study of community growth, enrolment forecasts, and estimates of space requirements. Completed in 1994.
