With a declining enrolment, the school district was faced with difficult choices regarding their programs and facilities. We examined a full range of options to determine the best strategy for school facilities in the long term. Completed in 2001.

Comparative Analysis of School Sites, Powell River, BC - 1991

We prepared a functional and cost comparison of two alternative sites for a new secondary school. We examined a broad spectrum of considerations including size, cost, location, and technical factors. Our quantitative evaluation focused on nine criteria: accessibility, development area, public support, health and safety, educational impacts, design constraints, shared resources, community plan, and implementation. Completed in 1991.
